AFS Advises Sunroad Auto in Sale of Genesis and Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealerships

ArentFox Schiff’s Automotive Practice Group represented Sunroad Auto in selling its Kearny Mesa Genesis and Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealerships to separate buyers.

Carvana, a publicly traded company known for its online used vehicle sales, purchased the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership to add to its growing portfolio of new vehicle dealerships. The Genesis dealership was purchased by O’Brien Auto Group, which operates thirteen new vehicle dealerships in Oregon and Washington and wanted to expand to California. ArentFox Schiff assisted Sunroad Auto in negotiating both sets of transaction documents, handling payoff issues with the dealerships’ lenders, and addressing real estate sale and leasing issues related to the Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership.
